How does it work ?
If you are a registered user and want to put a video into your video collection you must first login to your account.

For playing videos, Windows Media Player 10 is strongly recommended. For details about playing videos see the "Playing Videos"

What's the difference between the Free Account and uploading anonymously?
By uploading anonymously, you have little control over your video - for example, you won't be able to delete it later or make sure
that your video is only viewable by those you'd like. The video limit is only 10MB for anonymous uploads too. On the flip side,
it's a quick and easy way to get your video on the web with ease.

How do I convert or compress videos that are either an unacceptable format or too big, so I can upload them?Supported Video Formats: .avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv, .asf, .mov, .rm, .ram, .divx and also .swf (Shockwave Flash).
Make sure you are uploading to your free account as that one provides increased 20MB limit.
If your video is over 10MB, make sure you are uploading to a free account as it provides an increased 20MB limit. If your file is still bigger than 20MB we suggest using Microsoft Media Encoder, which is a free application for converting / compressing most any video. You can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx.
How do I delete video I've uploaded before ?If your video is over 10MB, make sure you are uploading to a free account as it provides an increased 20MB limit. Videos
How can I download a video to my computer ?
Unfortunately this isn't possible at the moment.
Do you allow direct linking to videos ? (hotlinking)?
Hotlinking is NOT allowed and will not work for files uploaded to ZippyVideos. Please use one of the many other linking
options to link to the video page. Thank you.
I uploaded a video and hotlinked it to a message board or forum, but it shows up as a red-x. What do I do?
You've tried to use an unacceptable linking method. Please see the question above for more details.
I uploaded a video anonymously, but now I forgot the URL. What should I do?
The best way to get to your old video is to try and browse for it using the browse feature. You may in some cases be able to recover
your video if you shared the URL on another site. This is why we suggest that users register for a free account, where you'll have
absolute control over your videos at all times.
Playing Videos
What do I need to play videos / I can't seem to play a video, what's wrong ?
For most of the streaming videos (You can select streaming option under video) on our site, it would be best to install
Windows Media Player 10 from following location:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/mp10/default.aspx.
For shockwave (.swf) files, you'll need the shockwave plug-in:
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/
Playing original (non streamed) files:
This is not recommended as we are able to stream 99% of videos, however, if you do decide to view a video in the original format, you may need a variety of codecs. If you have trouble playing these videos, always start by upgrading Windows Media Player.
For playing .rm (RealVideo) files you must have RealPlayer (Download RealPlayer )
For playing .mov (QuickTime) files you must have QuickTime plugin (Download Quicktime )
